Breast Friends of the CBWF is a volunteer led program which provides no-cost breast prostheses and mastectomy bras for breast cancer survivors and current warriors who have undergone a mastectomy due to breast cancer. Breast Friends is the only resource providing this service for women in the Coastal Bend. There is currently no state or federal funding available for prostheses. Breast Friends is 100% local and solely funded through the community’s generous donations.
